United Methodist Women (UMW)
Purpose
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Spiritual Growth
Spiritual growth and theological development are at the heart of United Methodist Women. Members grow in faith and understanding through prayer, Bible study, worship, reflection, interaction with others and active involvement in mission.
The UMW participates in the support of ministries at our church, including meals for the homebound, meals for families that have suffered a death, and local church needs.
