I love working with children because they love exploring the unknown in creative ways.
In class we enjoy the Deep Blue Connect curriculum, engage in a craft, learn
sign language, and sharing the love of Christ in our everyday life experiences!
 
Join us for a great adventure!
Through her years of giving to the community and growing in faith, Meegie has been
a Sunday School teacher, Youth Leader, Media Team Coordinator, Praise Dance Coordinator,
and Church Secretary.
 
Education: 
Meegie graduated from University of South Alabama with a Bachelors of Science degree in Administrative Science with concentrations in Computer Information Science,
Communications, Sociology, and Business. She received her Master’s of Science degree in Instructional Design and Develop in Curriculum and Design at USA as well. She is a
UAB Wesley Foundation Board Member.
 
She brings more than twenty years of experience in academia, including serving as a
Distance Learning Coordinator at University of South Alabama for ten years and as an
Instructional Designer at Three Rivers College and taught Computer Applications in both online and traditional settings. She is currently an Instructional Design Specialist at University of
Alabama at Birmingham under the Office of The Provost, in eLearning and Professional
Studies.

Hobbies:
I spend my spare time researching creative things to bring to the class, helping people
learn about using technology, and reading Bible plans on my YouVersion Bible App. I like crocheting and playing with my Silky Terrier, Leelie.
